Originally Planned WrestleMania 34 Main Event Not Happening?

WrestleMania

As we noted earlier, WWE officials have already planned the WrestleMania 34 main event two weeks before WrestleMania 33 takes place.

Wrestling Observer reported that Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship is currently the plan for the main event of WrestleMania 34 (with Lesnar being the Champion & Reigns being the challenger).

While Lesnar is scheduled to defeat Goldberg to capture the WWE Universal Title in the main event of WrestleMania 33, this doesn’t mean he’s going to hold onto the Title all the way to WrestleMania 34. Similarly, Reigns being in the main event of WrestleMania 34 doesn’t mean he’s going to defeat The Undertaker in the co-main event of this year’s WrestleMania 33 (as noted by the Wrestling Observer).

However, Wrestling Observer is now reporting that there’s a good chance this currently planned main event of WrestleMania 34 might get changed as this has been happening for the past few years and there’s a 50-50 chance that this happens.

We noted earlier today that plans post-WrestleMania 33 plans are for Roman Reigns to switch brands and get drafted to SmackDown Live. This might be another indication that the above mentioned match might not take place as Reigns would be on SmackDown Live and Lesnar on Raw.

We’ll keep you updated on this situation.
