8. New Title Match Added To SummerSlam 2016
A tag team match & a Title match was added to SumemrSlam 2016 on Raw. The team of Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens will face Enzo Amore & Big Cass, and Roman Reigns will face Rusev for the United States Championship. Below is the updated match card for SummerSlam 2016:
– Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton
– John Cena vs. AJ Styles
– WWE Championship Match: Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
– WWE Universal Championship Match: Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor
– WWE Women’s Championship Match: Sasha Banks (c) vs. Charlotte
– WWE United States Championship Match: Rusev (c) vs. Roman Reigns
– WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: The Miz (c) vs. Apollo Crews
– WWE Tag Team Championship Match: The New Day (c) vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
– Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Chris Jericho & Kevin Owens
It should be noted that Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods will represent The New Day at SummerSlam 2016 as WWE is playing an injury storyline with Big E. Also, WWE Women’s Champion Sasha Banks defeated Dana Brooke on Raw and now Dana is banned from ringside during the Women’s Championship match between Sasha & Charlotte at SummerSlam 2016.
7. Bubba Ray Dudley Calls Neville “Mighty Mouse”, John Cena & AJ Styles Appear on Raw During Commercial Break
During this week’s Raw pre-show, Bubba Ray Dudley & Neville had an exchange of words which led to the Dudley Boyz challenging Neville & a partner of his choosing to a tag team match. During the segment, Neville said he can fly which led to Bubba asking him if he’s a Superhero. Bubba then went on to call him “Mighty Mouse”. For those who don’t know, there were plans for Neville to be introduced as the “Mighty Mouse” on the WWE main roster when he got called up from NXT. Neville’s tag team partner ended up being Sin Cara and the duo knocked off The Dudleys on Raw.

Speaking of Raw, during the commerical break after the match between Jericho & Enzo, AJ Styles came out and noted that he’s here because he was advertised to appear at tonight’s show prior to the Brand Extension. Styles said he’s here to beat up John Cena and this led to Cena running out and they both brawled. Styles was going for the Styles Clash but Cena countered it into an Attitude Adjustment.
