6. Ending of The Battle Royal Botched On SmackDown Live?

On this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, a 10 man Battle Royal headlined the show (with the winner facing Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 33).

AJ Styles & Luke Harper were the final two men left in the match. The end came when Harper eliminated Styles and fell on the floor himself as well while doing the elimination.

This led to SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan coming out and announcing that they’ll figure out the #1 contender for the WWE Championship on next week’s episode of SmackDown Live.

The ending of the match might have been botched as it was clearly visible that Styles’ feet hit the floor before Harper’s did (they were probably trying to touch the ground with their feet at the same time) and that’s why WWE didn’t play a replay of it. Raw General Manager Mick Foley took a shot at it by tweeting the following:

Later on Talking Smack, Bryan announced that AJ Styles will face Luke Harper next week on SmackDown Live and the winner will face Bray Wyatt for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 33.
