4. Undertaker vs John Cena – SmackDown (2004)
Many people have been calling the idea of Undertaker vs Cena at next year’s WrestleMania a “Dream Match”. However, while that would be the first time these two have fought at WrestleMania, it wouldn’t be the first time they’ve fought.
They have previously battled at Vengeance in 2003 and on an episode of Monday Night Raw in 2006. However, their graphic battle on an episode of SmackDown in 2004 was perhaps their greatest (yet underrated) match yet. The Undertaker had recently just returned to his Deadman persona and after Paul Bearer was kidnapped, ‘Taker found himself (and the Urn) under Paul Heyman’s control.
Doing whatever it took to defeat Cena, the Undertaker clinched the victory in a very hard-fought, epic match. Definitely worth checking this out!
