3. Is Batista A Possible Replacement For Triple H’s Opponent At WrestleMania 33?
As we have noted before, Triple H’s scheduled opponent for WrestleMania 33 is Seth Rollins. However, Rollins’ WrestleMania 33 status is up in the air after he re-injured his knee on Raw a few weeks back.
There have been a lot of talks regarding Triple H’s replacement opponent for WrestleMania 33, one of them being discussed is Samoa Joe. Another interesting replacement being talked about is former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Batista.
There was a lot of tension between Batista & Triple H when Batista’s last WWE run in 2014 ended and he noted that he’ll only return for a meaningful feud and Batista has noted in the past how he wants to end his Pro-Wrestling career by having a retirement match against Triple H.
Nothing has been confirmed yet and plans for Triple H’s opponent are up in the air. A sit-down interview with Seth Rollins will air next week on Raw and we’ll have more information regarding Rollins’ recovery.
