WWE’s New Rule For Wrestlers Replacing Top WWE Stars, Tommy Dreamer’s Last Chokeslam Ever

* WWE Legend Chris Jericho replaced United States Champion John Cena at recent WWE Live Events.

This was done because of John Cena suffering a broken nose during a match with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Chris Jericho faced Kevin Owens for the first time ever and Jericho ended up getting the win against the former NXT Champion. Jericho going over Owens was a result of WWE’s new rule for a wrestler replacing a top talent. This rule states that if a top babyface is absent, his replacement has to defeat the heel. Chris Jericho vs. Kevin Owens was liked by almost all the fans in attendance during all of their three matches at Live Events.

* Chris Jericho noted on his podcast that Tough Enough contestants ZZ and Josh will wrestle a match on next week’s episode of WWE Tough Enough.

* Below is video of Tommy Dreamer taking a chokeslam from Lance Hoyt at a recent Lone Star Wrestling event. Dreamer later tweeted that this was the last chokeslam that he’s ever taking:
