8. Shinsuke Nakamura Captures NXT Championship
At last night’s NXT Takeover: Brooklyn II event, “The King of Strong Style” Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Samoa Joe in the main event to become the new NXT Champion. This is going to be Nakamura’s first Title run in WWE. He kicked out of a MuscleBuster and had to hit Joe with 2 Kinshasas for the win.

NXT Tag Team Championship Match: The Revival (c) def. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to retain the Titles.

7. Brock Lesnar Still Hopeful About Return To UFC

After failing out-of-competition & in-competition drug test for UFC 200 and possibly facing a 2 year ban from UFC, Brock Lesnar is still hopeful for a return to UFC.

During an interview with TMZ Sports at the WWE 2K17 media event, Lesnar talked about being focused on Randy Orton at the moment and still hopes he’ll return to UFC.

Below is what he said:

“I’ve got a few challenges to overcome before I can get there but I don’t know. For right now I’m going to focus on my WWE career. I wanted to step back into the Octagon and avenge my loss to diverticulitis. Sunday, I’m facing Randy Orton and really that’s all that’s on my mind.”

Also at the event, Lesnar was asked about what would have if Goldberg shows up at SummerSlam 2016. Lesnar said he wouldn’t say anything and would just take him to Suplex City.
