• AEW’s Estimated Market Value Is $400 Million

According to the Wrestling Observer, the estimated market value of AEW is $400 million:

“I had a discussion with a sports business professor at Stanford who has followed the AEW business and put a market value of the product at $400 million right now.”

A fan recently joked about AEW President Tony Khan starting a podcast titled “4 Weeks”, as that’s how long the fan thinks AEW Dynamite’s streak of beating WWE RAW in the 18-49 demo ratings will last (a reference to Eric Bischoff’s 83 Weeks podcast, which was named after WCW Nitro’s 83-week winning streak over WWF RAW in the ratings).

This resulted in Dave Meltzer replying the following:

“I think it’ll be called how I turned a $25 million investment into a company worth $400 million in two plus years.”

While Dave Meltzer says the investment made to create AEW was $25 million, Forbes’ article on AEW (for which Tony Khan & his father Shahid Khan were also interviewed) stated that Shahid Khan invested about $100 million to start All Elite Wrestling.
