• WWE Planning A Big Move For December 2020

WWE introduced virtual fans at their events starting from SummerSlam weekend with their move to the ThunderDome at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

Originally, the contract between WWE and Amway Center was set to expire on Saturday, October 31st, but they signed a 4-week extension recently.

WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE is set to leave Amway Center by December 1st, and they’re discussing moving to arenas in North Carolina, Texas and Illinois.

“ThunderDome update: source states WWE is set to leave the Amway Center by the 1st of December. Arenas in North Carolina, Texas & Illinois were discussed over the weekend. WWE needs to find a spot where NO team plays + able to house the weight & power requirements of the setup.

A newer arena is preferred as the weight of the ThunderDome won’t work with older buildings. Also, a major travel hub is needed as talent will be flying in and out each week. Not the easiest combination of things to find.”

It’s unknown if WWE will use the ThunderDome setup in those arenas or hold events with a small capacity of fans.
