– Baron Corbin told Nick Aldis that he is looking for a fresh start. Legado Del Fantasma interrupted and questioned why Aldis is showing charity to Corbin. Aldis fined Santos Escobar for attacking Apollo Crews last week.
– WWE Tag Team Champions Grayson Waller & Austin Theory held The Grayson Waller Effect with special guests #DIY. Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano gave examples of how Waller is using Theory and challenged them for the WWE Tag Team Titles for tonight, but they declined. A brawl broke out between both teams, which ended with #DIY standing tall.
– Piper Niven attacked Bayley & Naomi backstage and then posed with the WWE Women’s Championship.
– Santos Escobar def. Apollo Crews after interference from Elektra Lopez
Baron Corbin is a babyface now and evened the odds on the outside during this match by going after Angel & Berto.
– WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and AJ Styles met in the ring ahead of their “I Quit” match tomorrow night. AJ said quitting is a part of Cody, as Cody quit WWE, NJPW, ROH and even the company he helped start (referring to AEW).
Cody said he didn’t quit the company he helped start with his friends, he left to chase something greater because he believed he deserved more. He bet on himself and he was right as he’s the WWE Champion right now.
– Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa attacked The Street Profits backstage.
– Nia Jax def. “Michin” Mia Yim (Tiffany Stratton was on commentary)
– United States Champion Logan Paul returned home and found LA Knight in his pool.
– Carmelo Hayes mocked LA Knight and revealed that he will be in a Money In The Bank qualifying match next week.
– Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) vowed to become the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions in their home country tomorrow night.
– Nick Aldis banned Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa from ringside for Solo Sikoa’s match against Kevin Owens. Solo told Paul Heyman that he’ll come after him if he loses tonight. There were loud “We Want Roman” chants during this segment.
– Solo Sikoa def. Kevin Owens
Owens had Sikoa beat after hitting the Stunner, but Heyman put Solo’s foot on the bottom rope to break the pinfall. Owens went after Heyman after this, but Solo attacked him from behind and hit the Samoan Spike.
After the match, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa attacked Owens, which led to Randy Orton making his return. In his first appearance since his King of the Ring loss, Orton laid out the Tongas. He went after Solo, but Solo managed to escape after Tonga Loa went after Orton and got RKOed. Owens hugged Orton to end the show, as fans sang Randy’s theme song.
