Sasha Banks Explains Why She Left WWE In 2022

• Mercedes Mone fka Sasha Banks will have his first match in All Elite Wrestling this Sunday at the AEW Double Or Nothing 2024 PPV, where she’ll face Willow Nightingale for the TBS Women’s Championship.

During an interview with The Ringer, Mone said the following about her CEO character:

“They haven’t really got to see the CEO. They know who Sasha Banks is, but the CEO, Mercedes Mone, is something they’ve never seen before, and I’m ready to show them. I’m the greatest women’s wrestler of all time, 100 percent.”

Also during this interview, Mercedes said the following about leaving WWE in 2022:

“I don’t like being handcuffed. The only place to grow is with change, and I needed that change.”
