Tonight’s post-Clash At The Castle edition of RAW kicked off with the return of Seth Rollins. This is his first appearance on WWE programming since losing the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40.
Rollins welcomed the fans to the show and said he’s going to be the host of tonight’s show.
He said he’s back for only one reason – to be the absolute greatest, best of all time. He wants to reclaim the title that he made – the World Heavyweight Championship.
Rollins said the fastest way to be back in the mix for the title is to win the Money In The Bank contract, which he has already won in the past… 10 years ago. This led to World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest coming out.
Priest welcomed Rollins back and said he looks healthy. Priest said he wanted to cash-in the Money In The Bank contract on Rollins at WrestleMania XL, out of respect.
Rollins said they both are a lot alike, they both made their names by being a part of groups, with him being in the greatest group of all time – The Shield. They both also cashed-in the MITB contract at WrestleMania.
Seth questioned what kind of champion Damian wants to be. Priest said Rollins’ first World Heavyweight Title defense was against him and he lost because Rollins was better, but that isn’t the case anymore.
Priest told Rollins to not worry about any ladders, as he’s offering to defend the World Title against him at the Money In The Bank 2024 PLE. Rollins accepted.
