Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Stone Cold Steve Austin and Maxxine Dupri.

• WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin was the focus of Sunday night’s A&E Biography: WWE Legends. The episode highlighted his final match with Kevin Owens in the main event of WrestleMania 38 – Night 1, as well as his involvement with Pat McAfee, Austin Theory and Vince McMahon on Night 2.

Austin has never entirely ruled out a return to wrestling and has hinted that he might consider stepping back into the ring under the right conditions.

Earlier this year, there were rumors about Austin potentially making a comeback, with discussions about him being involved in the Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes match, though it ultimately didn’t happen.

When asked during A&E’s Biography about the possibility of wrestling one more match, Austin responded with the following:

“If I never get in the ring again in my life, I’m 100%. I walked away. I’m happy with what I did. There’s people who have done more or lasted longer.

I had a pretty good run and I’m pretty happy with it. So, I ain’t got nothing to prove to nobody.”

• While Maxxine Dupri has been working hard to establish herself on WWE’s main roster, her boyfriend has just made his in-ring debut for the company.

At the NXT live event on May 18th in Fort Pierce, Florida, two new talents had their first matches for WWE. Derrian Gobourne teamed up with Stevie Turner in a match, though they were defeated by Carlee Bright and Kendal Grey.

In the opening match of the same event, Chase U’s Andre Chase and Duke Hudson secured a victory over Josh Black and a debuting Anthony Luke.

Anthony Luke, who is Maxxine Dupri’s boyfriend, participated in a WWE tryout before SummerSlam in 2023 and was signed by the company as a result.
