During the Clash At The Castle post-show press conference, World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest said the following about his injury scare:
“I mean, it feels like trash right now. I didn’t even go to medical yet so I could do this and talk to you guys, and answer your questions. So, you are all welcome. The doctors will check it out but, I ain’t going anywhere. I was able to beat Drew McIntyre on one foot so I’m pretty sure I’m good to go.”
While addressing Priest’s injury scare, Triple H said this is the reason why WWE emphasizes on storytelling, as rest is just special effects, and that the wrestlers should be here for the long haul.

In an update, Priest’s injury wasn’t as bad as WWE feared. Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported:
“I actually heard from them and the preliminary news wasn’t bad, they’re actually saying it’s like a miracle. It wasn’t as bad as they feared.”
Priest had the following message for Drew McIntyre after retaining the World Heavyweight Title:
“My message to Drew: grow up, shut your mouth, get back to work.”

CM Punk said the following after screwing McIntyre:
“As long as I have air in my lungs, Drew McIntyre is never going to be champion ever again.”
