5. Gallows & Anderson Cost Cedric Alexander The United States Championship Match
Cedric Alexander had been on a roll until he faced AJ Styles at Clash Of Champions. Alexander went against all odds to get to the quarter-finals of the King Of The Ring Tournament. However, The OC cost him the opportunity which led to him and Styles facing off at Clash Of Champions.
Surprisingly, Alexander could not get much offense against The Phenomenal One and he lost to him under 5 minutes. The following night on RAW, Styles once again pinned him in a six-man tag team match.
Alexander and Styles are set to lock horns in a United States Championship match on the season premiere of RAW. Just like most Styles’ matches recently, we can expect The Good Brothers to interrupt this one as well.
The Phenomenal One will most probably retain the United States Title, which may lead to Styles vs. Alexander 3 at Hell In A Cell this Sunday.
Since Styles doesn’t have any opponent at Hell In A Cell, WWE will probably go with this option. It will be a good opportunity to give them more time and produce a better bout than they did at Clash Of Champions.
