The Monster Among Men defeated John Morrison and The Miz in a 2-On-1 Handicap match at Backlash to retain his Universal Championship. WWE is probably planning to have him drop the Title to “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt at SummerSlam, so his next Title defense could also be a one-off feud.
At Backlash, Sheamus defeated Jeff Hardy clean, which may be the end of their rivalry.
The Celtic Warrior has been dominant on SmackDown since his return, so him vs. Strowman at Extreme Rules for the Universal Championship could happen as Strowman needs to face a top heel from the blue brand.
