Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring The Rock and Hulk Hogan.

• The Rock will wrestle again!

Originally, fans were excited about a potential showdown between The Rock and Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. However, plans shifted after fan backlash when The Rock asked Cody Rhodes to step aside. Instead, The Rock teamed up with Reigns to take on Rhodes and Seth Rollins in a tag team match at the event, securing a victory. Nonetheless, Rhodes got his revenge the next night by clinching the Undisputed WWE Universal Title from Reigns.

During the post-WrestleMania episode of RAW, WWE teased a future clash between The Rock and Rhodes, hinting at a possible matchup at WrestleMania 41 next year.

In an interview with Mike Coppinger of ESPN, The Rock shared insights about his potential in-ring return. “We’re on the 1-yard line to create the biggest WrestleMania of all time and the biggest match of all time at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas. I’ll just leave it at that, Final Boss style,” The Rock stated.

It looks like The Rock vs. Roman Reigns will finally happen next year, especially with what’s happening in The Bloodline right now, where many people are speculating that The Rock is giving orders to Solo Sikoa to run things in the absence of Reigns.

Currently, The Rock is busy filming “The Smashing Machine” movie, a project expected to wrap up by early August.

• In a surprising turn of events, 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan announced his interest in running for US President during an appearance on “Fox & Friends”. Known for his iconic wrestling career and recent venture into the beer industry with Real American Beer, Hogan’s declaration has stirred quite a buzz.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Bollea, emphasized his readiness to tackle the nation’s challenges with what he describes as “common sense” leadership. “We need somebody in there that’s got some common sense. So, if you need a President or Vice President, I’ll volunteer and take this country over, and I’ll rule with an iron fist, a flat tax – nothing but common sense. I know right from wrong, brother,” Hogan stated boldly.

Hogan’s presidential aspirations come at a time when he perceives the nation to be deeply divided. He aims to use his platform and ventures, such as Real American Beer, to foster unity. Reflecting on his decision to enter the beer market, Hogan pointed out a gap in the industry that ignited his entrepreneurial spirit.

“I had this crazy idea because I saw how competitive the beer industry was, and I saw what happened with Bud Light and their whole promotion that crashed and burned. I saw this crazy open lane and it just reminded me of what needed to be done in this country,” Hogan explained.

While it remains to be seen how serious Hogan’s political ambitions are, his comments have certainly sparked conversations across the nation.
