8. Sasha Banks Wins The Royal Rumble Match, Challenges Bayley At WrestleMania
The Boss hasn’t been used properly since her return as she lost back-to-back matches to RAW Women’s Champion Becky Lynch and is also being overshadowed by Bayley’s current Title run on SmackDown.
Her career might get a huge boost tonight if she manages to win the Royal Rumble match. WWE isn’t utilizing her as a proper singles wrestler, and she’s been restricted to being Bayley’s sidekick.
If she wins the Royal Rumble match, she could challenge Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at “The Grandest Stage Of Them All”. Besides, WWE hasn’t used her much on TV over the past month, which may be a hint that they’re trying to surprise the fans by giving her a big moment all of a sudden.
WWE keeps teasing a potential feud between them from time to time. Bayley lost to Lacey Evans a week ago on SmackDown because Banks wasn’t there. Her loss could create some tension betweem them, and maybe it continues in tonight’s match between Bayley and Evans. Banks could even get Bayley disqualified by coming out for revenge against Evans for assaulting her a week ago.
