Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Drew McIntyre and IShowSpeed.

• Drew McIntyre has hit a breaking point following the 2025 Royal Rumble. Despite riding high in WWE throughout 2024, he was visibly frustrated after his elimination from the Men’s Royal Rumble match, both in the ring and backstage.

According to Daily Mail UK, McIntyre is being slotted into a WrestleMania 41 feud with Damian Priest, which insiders are calling a “nothing match.” Given his strong momentum, McIntyre reportedly believes he deserves a marquee feud, not something that feels like an afterthought and something that has already happened.

This frustration isn’t new. Leading into the Rumble, McIntyre felt overlooked and even took to X, sharing a video from Indianapolis streets. He pointed out a sign reading “Yeet Street” in a prime spot while “McIntyre Street” was buried in the back. He vented, “Over there where I was signing, how many action figures and T-shirts did they have of Drew McIntyre? Zero!”

Taking direct shots at Roman Reigns and The Bloodline, McIntyre ranted, “You just have to sell your freaking soul,” making it clear he isn’t willing to “sell out” to get ahead in WWE.
