Today’s WWE Clash At The Castle 2024 premium live event is taking place at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
The main PLE show kicked off with I Quit match for the WWE Championship. There was a graphic botch for Cody Rhodes. His name was shown on the graphic as “Talent Name” and was listed as “Women’s Tag Team Champion”.
The match began and they began brawling outside, even reaching the backstage area where Triple H and other WWE Officials were seated.
They returned to the ringside area, where AJ dropped Cody on his head on top of the announce table and busted him open. AJ even mocked Cody’s mother, who is seated ringside.
Despite AJ assaulting Cody with multiple weapons, Cody is refusing to quit. AJ handcuffs Cody and begins assaulting him with a Kendo Stick. Cody still refuses to say “I Quit”.
AJ begins talking trash to Cody’s mom and Mamma Rhodes slaps AJ multiple times! AJ wraps chain around his elbow and goes for the Phenomenal Forearm, but Cody threw a chair at AJ’s head and AJ fell back out of the ring through a Table!
Cody manages to unlock the handcuffs. Cody hits crossrhodes to AJ twice and then the third time on a chair! Cody has now handcuffed AJ to the ropes and begins assaulting him with a steelchair! AJ is also bleeding. The referee asks AJ if he wants to quit, and AJ said “screw you, Cody Rhodes”.
Rhodes picks up the steel ring steps and is about to smash AJ in the head with it. AJ quit before Cody did that. Cody asked his mother if he should still do it and she said yes, and Cody hit AJ in the shoulder with the steps.

After the match, The Bloodline attacked Cody, which led to Randy Orton and Kevin Owens making the save.

Next match is a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Isla Dawn pinned Shayna Baszler to win the match for her team.
Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn def. Shayna Baszler & Zoey Stark and Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill (c) to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Isla & Alba celebrated with their families & friends at ringside after the match.
Up next is the Intercontinental Championship match between Chad Gable and Sami Zayn. During Sami’s entrance, the following message from Uncle Howdy appeared on the screen:
“You were warned. Told to prepare. You will behold. The massacre is coming.”
Chad accidentally hurt Maxxine Dupri’s already hurt leg. Otis was about to attack Chad for this, but didn’t. Otis then picked up Maxxine and left. This distracted led to Sami hitting Gable with the Helluva Kick to pick up the win.

After the match, Sami signaled that he’s done with Chad.
Up next is the WWE Women’s Championship match between Bayley and Piper Niven. Chelsea Green interfered in the match and slapped Bayley. She tried to do it again later, but Bayley stomped Green’s hand on the ring apron. Chelsea complained about it to the referee and the referee sent her to the back, banning her from ringside.
Chelsea came back later in the match after wearing a mask and began arguing with the referee. Bayley then laid her out.
Bayley eventually put Piper away with a Crucifix Driver for the win.
