Below are a couple of top news stories of the day, involving Kurt Angle and Vince Russo.
• On his podcast, Kurt Angle revealed that he has landed a movie role in a movie called “The Ranch”, which will also star UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture.
Couture is one of the greatest fighters in the history of UFC. He’s a former 5-time UFC World Champion (3x Heavyweight and 2x Light Heavyweight). He’s also the man that Brock Lesnar defeated to win the UFC Heavyweight Title.
Here’s what Angle said about the movie:
“They haven’t decided a definite date yet, but it will be within the next 6 weeks. I have a movie I’m going to be shooting. It’s called The Ranch. Randy Couture is going to star in it with me. We’re going to be brothers.
It’s a movie about a ranch. Randy is a war hero and I’m the scumbag brother. I’m Mr. Red, White, and Blue. Why am I not the war hero? (laughs). It’s a good movie.
We’re working with Michael Tadross. If you don’t know who he is, look him up. You’ll see he’s a really big-time Hollywood producer. I’m excited about doing this with Randy. I haven’t done a major motion picture in 8 or 9 years, so this is really cool.”
• On this week’s RAW, Akira Tozawa managed to defeat Ivar of The Viking Raiders. After the match, Ivar attacked Akira and Valhalla (Sarah Logan) attacked Maxxine Dupri.
Valhalla vs. Maxxine will take place on next week’s RAW now.
Former WWF / WCW writer Vince Russo thinks Valhalla should take her Viking character more seriously and suggested the following:
“@WWE Valhalla needs to STOP Shaving her Pits and Legs. Just a Helpful Suggestion.”
