Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, featuring MJF, Tama Tonga and Solo Sikoa.

• MJF, who recently returned to AEW after a hiatus due to multiple injuries, has been making waves since his comeback at Double or Nothing. Now, he’s found himself in the middle of an interesting situation involving another wrestler’s merchandise.

The June 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown at Madison Square Garden was memorable for many reasons, particularly the shocking moment when The Bloodline viciously attacked Paul Heyman. However, something else caught fans’ attention earlier in the show. Tama Tonga’s new ‘MFT’ t-shirt design appeared strikingly similar to MJF’s logo from AEW.

Fans quickly pointed out the resemblance, bombarding MJF with photos of Tama Tonga’s shirt. MJF, known for his sharp wit and unfiltered opinions, took to Twitter to address the situation. Rather than escalating the issue, he simply asked fans to stop sending him pictures of the shirt, saying, “Stop sending me photos of the shirt. We get it.”

This reaction from MJF shows a more laid-back side to the usually fiery wrestler, choosing to downplay the potential controversy over the similar designs. It remains to be seen if this incident will lead to any further developments or if it will just be another footnote in the ongoing rivalry and camaraderie within the wrestling world.

• Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa & Paul Heyman came to the ring in the main event segment of Friday’s SmackDown. Heyman started talking and Solo interrupted in between and wanted the mic. Fans started a loud “We Want Roman” chant. Solo then introduced the newest member of The Bloodline and his Enforcer – “The Samoan Werewolf” Jacob Fatu – who came out to his own entrance theme song.

Sikoa then told the MSG crowd to acknowledge him and everyone booed. Sikoa told Tama, Tonga & Jacob to come forward one by one and told them to acknowledge him, and they did. Solo then told Heyman to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief and wants him to put the Ula Fala around his neck as well.

Heyman said: “I acknowledge that you are NOT my Tribal Chief” and the crowd erupted. Solo then hit Heyman with the Samoan Spike. Jacob hit Heyman with the Diving Headbutt. All of them then powerbombed Heyman through the announce table!

Jacob put the Ula Fala around Sikoa’s neck and the new Bloodline raised their fingers to end the show.

Adult movie company Brazzers tweeted the following after SmackDown went off the air:

Solo posted the following after attacking Heyman:
