• Old School Wrestling Legend Would Have Celebrated His Birthday

Today would have been the birthday of Old School WCW/WWF Legend “The Loose Cannon” Brian Pillman.

Pillman got his first break in the business in Canada, where he was trained by Stu Hart in the world famous Dungeon, and also wrestled for the Hart Family promotion ‘Calgary Stampede Wrestling’.

After becoming a member of the ‘4 Horsemen’ in WCW, and a short stint in Paul Heyman’s ECW, Brian became a member of the 1997 heel WWF stable ‘The Hart Foundation’ along with his close personal friends Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith & Jim Neidhart.

• Old School WWF Veteran Celebrates His Birthday

Old School WWF/WCW Veteran Scott Putski (Real name: James Bednarski) celebrates his birthday today.

He’s the son of WWF Legend & WWF/WWE Hall of Famer “Polish Power” Ivan Putski (Józef Bednarski).

It felt a bit odd when this 260 lbs Heavyweight Wrestler was used in the newly founded WWF Light-Heavyweight Division (basically the counterpart to WCW’s Cruiserweight Division) in 1997.

Scott then joined Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling in 1998, but already left the promotion a year later in 1999.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT PUTSKI!
