Below are a couple of top WWE RAW news stories of the day.
• According to Dr. Chris Featherstone, Roman Reigns vs. Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match with the Ula Fala on the line will be the opening match of tonight’s RAW premiere on Netflix.
The main event of the show will be CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins.
As we noted earlier, WrestlePurists revealed that The Rock will fire Solo Sikoa from The Bloodline on tonight’s RAW.
The Rock’s involvement is the reason why Reigns vs. Sikoa is the opening match, as WWE wants to start the historic show with a big moment involving Dwayne Johnson (a household name), as that is very important for retaining new fans that are expected to tune in tonight.

• WWE VP and line producer Brian Fadem confirmed that international audiences watching WWE on Netflix will experience uninterrupted content during commercial breaks.
Instead of ads, fans outside of USA will see match continuations, exclusive interviews with talent, or special international-only packages.
Here’s what Brian said during an interview with Sports Business Journal:
“While you might go to commercials if you’re in Texas, if you’re in Italy you’re going to see us continue content. You’re going to see the continuation of a match. You’re going to see exclusive interviews with our talent. You might see an exclusive package that will only be viewed on that international level.”
