MVP has officially put an end to any speculation about the return of The Hurt Business, confirming that the faction is firmly in the past.

The Hurt Business, composed of Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin, was a standout faction in WWE, particularly during the challenging pandemic era. The group gained popularity for its dominance and charisma, with Lashley holding the WWE Championship and Alexander and Benjamin holding the RAW Tag Team Championship.

Despite their success, WWE disbanded The Hurt Business in early 2021, maintaining the partnership between Lashley and MVP, who continued to manage Lashley as he rose to prominence as a top star. The group had a brief reunion in 2022, but it was short-lived as MVP later aligned with Omos, leading to a feud with Lashley.

Currently, The Hurt Business is no more. Shelton Benjamin has left WWE, while Bobby Lashley, MVP, and Cedric Alexander remain with the company.

Recently, MVP shared a photo of the group on social media, sparking fan speculation about a potential reunion. However, MVP quickly quashed these rumors by responding to a fan’s comment, stating, “Triple H said no”. He emphasized that the faction is over and that the decision is final according to WWE’s higher-ups.

You can read some of the comments MVP made below:

“Triple H had the power to fix it. He chose not to. Go figure.”

“The current regime doesn’t want it either.”

“We did (talk to Triple H). He said no.”
