In the main event of tonight’s UFC 288 pay-per-view, Aljamain Sterling defeated Henry Cejudo via split decision to retain the UFC Bantamweight (135 lbs) Championship.

After the fight, Sterling had a heated face-off with “Sugar” Sean O’Malley, who will be his next opponent.

This was Cejudo’s return to the UFC after 3 years. He’s a former 2-division World Champion and an Olympic Gold Medalist.

To explain Cejudo’s heel antics, multiple WWE Superstars appeared via pre-taped promos.

Here’s what the WWE Superstars said:

Finn Balor: What makes the perfect heel? Doing everything in your power to make sure people don’t like you. Which sounds easy, but is very, very difficult.

Cody Rhodes: A heel is not a bad guy. A heel is somebody who takes something away that you want. Which can make you a bad guy. So if a crowd starts clapping their hands and they want to see a guy get beat up, you take it away.

Charlotte Flair: What makes the perfect heel? Being unapologetic. And even when you’re wrong, you’re right.

Seth Rollins: The perfect heel is rotten. He believes in his rottenness, I think that’s the key.

These promos were taped before WrestleMania 39, as Charlotte still had her SmackDown Women’s Championship with her.
