As we saw on WWE Raw, Daniel Bryan vacated the WWE Intercontinental Title and said that there is no time table for his in-ring return. He even said that the doctors have told him he might never wrestle again.
According to latest reports, the decision for Daniel Bryan to vacate the IC Title was made on May 8th after WWE received Bryan’s MRI report on his shoulder. WWE were hoping for Bryan to return later this month, but that didn’t turn out to be the case.
Daniel Bryan is not scheduled to work this week’s SmackDown but he will work the Payback PPV this Sunday along with next week’s TV tapings. He’s expected to start an angle where a new IC Champion will be crowned.
