Roman Reigns’ father, WWE Hall of Famer Wild Samoan Sika, passed away on June 25 at the age of 79.

Reigns issued the following statement:

“My family and I thank everyone for the outpouring of support in the name of my father, Pola’ivao Leati Sika Anoa’i, who will forever be remembered as one half of The Wild Samoans tag team. My father had a profound impact on my entire family and we are forever grateful for the foundation he built for us. There’s no way to fill the void left by his passing but my sisters and I will do our best to represent him and his legacy.

Rest in Power, Dad. We love you.”

Just a day after his father’s death, Reigns visited Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital in Hollywood, Florida to meet kids.

Below are some photos:

Earlier this month, Reigns made a patient’s dream of meeting Bad Bunny come true. Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital shared the following story about it:

“Grab the tissues for a feel good, happy tears moment.

WWE’s Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, recently surprised our adorable patient, Emma, with VIP suite tickets and a private ‘meet and greet’ with her favorite artist, Bad Bunny, at his concert in Miami.

Roman Reigns remembered her telling him how much she loved the superstar singer when he visited our Child Life Zone over the holidays, and with the help of some good friends, he made her dreams come true.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of Larrys Private Car and Limo Worldwide and the support of Sergeant Robinson from the Miami Dade Police Department, Emma’s experience was nothing short of magical as she arrived to meet ‘el conejo malo’ in style. This unforgettable gesture created beautiful memories for our sweet girl and left a beaming smile on her face!

Thank you to Bad Bunny, Roman Reigns and the Miami Dade Police Department, for making Emma’s dreams a reality!”
