3. Heyman’s relationship with CM Punk
Austin asked Paul if he still talks with CM Punk. Heyman replied that they talk almost everyday, through text messages & said their friendship isn’t based on Pro-Wrestling.
Austin asked Heyman’s thoughts on Punk’s UFC career. Heyman says Punk probably
regrets not entering MMA 5-6 years ago. Below is what he said about him fighting in the Octagon:
“I think that he firmly believes he is either going to step into that octagon and shock everybody by beating somebody’s a**, or he’s going to get punched in the face and knocked out or tapped out and beat up. And I think he’s very accepting of the fact that that’s a possibility and he’s man enough to walk in there and take his chances.”
