1. Randy Orton Wins His 14th WWE World Championship
Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton have come face-to-face once again after 10 years. The WWE Champion defended his title against The Viper at SummerSlam last month. However, the match ended in a double count-out and Kingston attacked Orton with a kendo stick when Orton tried to humiliate him in front of his family.
The next chapter between the two takes place tonight as they’ll lock horns for the title once again. Orton has humiliated the champion on the road to Clash Of Champions as much as he could. However, Kingston will be heading into tonight’s show with the upper hand as he ferociously beat down Orton on SmackDown last Tuesday.
While Kingston’s chances of winning look higher, WWE could shock everyone by giving Orton his 14th WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Kingston has been the top guy on the blue brand for a while now. It might be time that he’s replaced by a star of higher caliber.
Moreover, Kingston got the upper hand on Orton at SummerSlam so WWE might give Orton his moment tonight. Another factor which could play a huge role in Kingston’s loss would be SmackDown’s move to FOX, which is almost two weeks away. WWE would want a popular superstar to hold the title at SmackDown’s premier on FOX.
