4. The Street Profits Make Their In-Ring Debut
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins, The Street Profits, were called up to the main roster this past summer. It’s been more than 3 months but WWE has restricted the duo to backstage segments. They are yet to show off their skills in the ring.
At the start of July, then-NXT Tag Team Champions made their first appearance on the main roster. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that WWE wanted them to be over with the crowd before they started competing.
Soon after their debut on the main roster, The Street Profits lost the NXT Tag Team Championship to Bobby Fish and Kyle O’ Reilly of The Undisputed Era. After their loss, the WWE Universe expected Ford and Dawkins to step inside the ring, but they continued with the backstage segments.
A couple of weeks ago on NXT, Ford and Dawkins lost a rematch for the NXT Tag Team Championship against The Undisputed Era, ending their journey on the yellow brand. This past Friday on SmackDown, they officially became a part of the main roster when USA Network picked them for RAW during the Draft.

The Street Profits may be among the new faces we see on RAW tonight. We’ve already seen them backstage. Tonight may be the night where they finally step inside the ring.
