5. WWE Hall Of Famer Edge Challenges Randy Orton To A Match At WrestleMania 36
The Rated R Superstar hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since Randy Orton’s vicious attack on him.
On the RAW after Royal Rumble, Edge came out to thank the fans for the warm welcome they gave him, but unfortunately things did not end well for him. Randy Orton (who was eliminated by Edge from the Rumble match) came out to act like he was happy for Edge, but he ended up brutalizing The Rated R Superstar. He crossed the line and used steel chairs to try to damage Edge’s neck.
Orton hasn’t only done that. He took out Edge’s friend Matt Hardy last month, and took things to an unacceptable point when he RKOed Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix, last week.
Edge will be returning tonight to confront The Viper and avenge everything he has done to him, his family and his friends over the past month. It’s likely that Edge won’t be allowed to fight Orton, but he will end up challenging him to a match at the Show Of Shows next month.
