Now this is one weird situation, as not only was Billy Gunn not an active WWE Superstar, nor was he seen on WWE TV (except as a Tough Enough trainer on the WWE Network) lately.
So Monty “Kip” Sopp competed in a powerlifting contest in his free time on July 25 2015, without WWE even knowing about it … and got tested positive for anabolic steroids (testosterone) use there.
He was suspended from powerlifting competition for 4 years, but according to the WWE wellness policy this was supposed to be a 30 day suspension, yet they instantly fired him as soon as they found out on November 13 2015.
