• Date For Jon Moxley’s In-Ring Return Announced

In November 2021, AEW Superstar Jon Moxley (fka Dean Ambrose in WWE) entered an inpatient alcohol treatment program.

AEW President Tony Khan said the following about this situation:

“It’s actually good circumstances, because it’s a good thing that he’s doing, it’s a brave thing and we’re all here to support him.

It was in the last couple of days, talking to him and Renee, you know, Renee is taking to him and Renee spoke to us and said you know they both thought this was the best way to go and talking to both of them we agree.

I think that there are some things more important than wrestling. In this case the most important thing we can do now is support Jon and his recovery.”

Moxley will now return to in-ring action on January 23rd at the Hammerstein Ballroom, where he will defend his GCW World Championship against TNA Veteran Homicide.

Jon won Game Changer Wrestling’s top title in September 2021.
