Below are a couple of top AEW & WWE news stories of the day, featuring Elias and Hulk Hogan.
• Elijah, fka Elias in WWE, has unveiled his next chapter, joining forces with AEW tag team The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) to form a new faction called The Righteous Ones. In a dark, cryptic video shared on his X account, Elijah narrated an ominous message:
“And so he became the Righteous One. A new journey begins. A search, a calling, a destiny. He would encounter a gang of righteous men, and they were of one mind and of one spirit. And they walked amongst the dead spreading their message of truth in a world full of wicked lies. And to those who responded to the call, the chance to be made righteous.
The grave is the door to your rebirth through the flames of perdition to be reborn a righteous man. And so I ask, who wants to run with the Righteous Ones?”

This eerie transformation marks a stark contrast from Elijah’s previous guitar-strumming, carefree WWE persona.
While Vincent and Dutch have long been staples in AEW and ROH, Elijah’s involvement has sparked speculation about whether he’s officially signed with either company.
• During his appearance on The Pat McAfee Show today, Hulk Hogan discussed getting booed on the RAW Netflix premiere in Los Angeles.
Hogan said he anticipated getting booed in LA, but couldn’t cut a heel promo because he was there to promote his Real American Beer. He noted that he would’ve cut a heel promo if he was out there for a wrestling angle.
Hulk said he got booed due to political reasons. When McAfee asked if “some other stuff” played a part in the negative reaction, Hogan said of course.
Despite the negative reaction from the fans, Hogan looked at his appearance in a positive way as it drew 11 million impressions on social media, while other top WWE stars drew around 3 million impressions on that night.
