• AEW’s TBS Women’s Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Mone wants to become a real CEO by owning a wrestling company.

In an interview with Katee Sackhoff, she shared her long-standing goal of becoming a shareholder and helping shape the industry.

“I always said back in the day that I wanted to be a shareholder and be a part of helping and creating. So yeah, I definitely want to help own a wrestling company one day and be the woman of change and voice of change over there for any wrestling company that wants to have me.”

Mercedes will defend the TBS Title against Momo Watanabe at the upcoming Revolution PPV.

• Malakai Black, formerly known as Aleister Black in WWE, has been released from AEW and is now rumored to be returning to WWE soon.

Black, who was an NXT Champion and Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic winner, was released from WWE in 2021 before joining All Elite Wrestling. Recently, he shared a fan-made highlights video on Instagram, sparking speculation about a WWE comeback.

The Wrestling Observer reported, “Aleister Black should be returning imminently,” though no further details were provided.

Black’s wife, Zelina Vega, works in WWE on the SmackDown brand.
