• Alberto Del Rio Forced To Leave AAA
Alberto Del Rio aka Alberto El Patron’s time in AAA has come to an end – at least for now – following a chaotic and interference-filled main event loss to Mesias on AAA TV last night in Mexico City. The high-stakes match carried a clear stipulation: if Patron lost, he’d be forced to leave the promotion. From the opening bell, it was apparent the odds were stacked against him. Dorian Roldan, the villainous Hijo de Tirantes serving as referee, and the NGD faction all involved themselves liberally throughout the bout.
Despite the constant interference, Patron managed to fight back. At one point, he grabbed a guitar and took out both Roldan and NGD in a wild flurry. But just when it seemed like he might turn the tide, Mesias capitalized on the distraction. Blinding Patron with a handful of powder, Mesias quickly rolled him up. A fast count from Tirantes sealed the outcome, ending Patron’s run in AAA.

At the end, a surprising moment came when Latin Lover – who had been watching from the audience – entered the ring. He and Patron had been locked in a bitter rivalry for over a year, but in a show-closing gesture, the two embraced and shook hands, signaling a rare moment of mutual respect after months of animosity.
• Shane McMahon Reacts To Vince McMahon’s Statement About Hulk Hogan’s Death
As we previously noted, former WWE CEO Vince McMahon issued the following statement on Hulk Hogan’s death:
“The world lost a treasure today. Hulk Hogan was the greatest WWE Superstar of ALL TIME, someone who was loved and admired around the world. He was a trailblazer, the first performer who transitioned from being a wrestling star into a global phenomenon.
His grit and unbridled thirst for success were unparalleled – and made him the consummate performer. He gave everything he had to the audience whom he appreciated, respected and loved.
He leaves us with one of his favorite expressions, ‘Train, take your vitamins and say your prayers.’ Today, we pray for him.”
Shane McMahon had the following to say about Hogan’s passing:
“My dad could not have been more eloquent about what he wrote about the Hulkster. What a deep loss for us all. Hulk’s legacy is truly immortal. Thank you Terry for everything that you did for both the McMahon and WWE family. We will all miss you. God speed Brother.”
