– Anthony Bowens got upset with Billy Gunn for not having his back last week. Billy said he doesn’t recognize who Bowens is anymore.
– Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. Swerve Strickland for the AEW Unified Championship was announced for the AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door 2025 PPV in London on August 24.
– FTR def. The Bang Bang Gang to advance to the Finals of the AEW World Tag Team Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament
– Athena announced that she’s using her guaranteed AEW Women’s Title match against “Timeless” Toni Storm at the Forbidden Door PPV. Athena vowed to leave London as the ROH Women’s Champion and the AEW Women’s World Champion.
– Max Caster survived 5 minutes against Rush in The Best Wrestler Alive Challenge
– Sky Flight def. Shane Taylor Promotions
– Darby Allin attacked Jon Moxley and attempted to toss him off a fire escape. Security saved Moxley and pulled Darby away.
– Kyle Fletcher def. Dustin Rhodes (c) in a Chicago Street Fight to win the TNT Championship
