• Return Announced For WWE Wrestlepalooza

During an interview on ESPN SportsCenter, Triple H announced that Pat McAfee will return to WWE TV at the Wrestlepalooza PLE on September 20, which will be WWE’s first PLE on ESPN.

In June, McAfee revealed that he decided to take some time off from WWE because he was exhausted:

“Just taking some time to catch up on life. Between Money In The Bank and Night of Champions feels like the right window. I was starting to feel pretty exhausted. Big shoutout to everyone in WWE for looking out for me. I’m very grateful.”

Triple H was also asked about more WWE premium live events becoming two-night events. Here’s what WWE’s Chief Content Officer said:

“I think time will tell, and it’s really for us about super-serving our fans, just like for ESPN, you guys thrive on super-serving your fan base and the people that watch. So do we. It’s what we want to do. So when we can turn these into bigger events, make them destination weekends for fans, that’s what we will do. And it’s all about our fans, our WWE universe and making them happy.”

• Hulk Hogan Might’ve Died Due To Medical Malpractice

Law enforcement sources have revealed a new detail regarding the death of 2-time WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan, suggesting that he may have been a victim of medical malpractice. According to a police report from the Clearwater Police Department, an occupational therapist was present at Hogan’s Florida home when he stopped breathing.

The therapist told responding officers that Hogan’s phrenic nerve was allegedly “severed” during a recent operation, though it’s unclear whether this was a heart or neck surgery. The phrenic nerve is crucial for breathing, as it stimulates the diaphragm.

Sources told TMZ Sports that Hogan’s wife, Sky, was the one who raised the alarm when he stopped breathing, as he did not have a chest-clenching episode. The 911 call was made at that time.

Conversations among officers discussing the therapist’s claims were reportedly captured on police body cam footage, and it is assumed that the initial conversation with the therapist was also recorded.

In light of the new information, Hogan’s daughter, Brooke, has called for an autopsy. While it was reported that Hogan’s body had not been cremated as of a week ago, it is currently unknown whether that has since occurred.
