• The Rock is a Big Fan of AEW Wrestler
Danhausen’s quirky style has always stood out, and it appears that even top figures in WWE have taken notice. Sources indicate that The Rock himself has been a big fan since Danhausen’s earliest wave of popularity, and that enthusiasm has sparked broader interest inside the company, according to the Wrestling Observer.
Ironically, the wrestler’s current home in AEW hasn’t provided him much momentum. After appearing at ROH Final Battle, Danhausen disappeared from television and hasn’t been featured since. He had reportedly been waiting out the end of his agreement, only for AEW to tack extra time onto the deal because of the months he spent injured and unable to perform, according to Fightful Select.
That unexpected extension means he’ll be under AEW’s umbrella longer than he originally hoped, though he hasn’t been factored into storylines. Reports suggest this has been a point of frustration for him.
Still, even while inactive, his unusual gimmick continues to circulate within wrestling circles. WWE officials see the potential appeal of his character, and with one of the industry’s biggest icons openly appreciating his act, Danhausen’s name remains relevant despite his absence from weekly television.
• Triple H Impressed With 2 Female RAW Stars
On his RAW Recap Show, Sean Ross Sapp revealed that WWE officials were extremely pleased with how IYO SKY and Roxanne Perez stepped up on RAW recently.
WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H was “very happy” with the pair filling the gap left by the Women’s World Title match that was supposed to take place the prior week, but didn’t due to Naomi’s pregnancy.
Sean stressed that while IYO’s athletic ability was never in question by WWE officials, her charisma and presence have now fully caught up, making her one of WWE’s most complete performers.
Many in WWE believe IYO SKY is the MVP of the women’s division in 2025.
• Cora Jade Fires Back At Ex-WWE Talent Claiming She Bullied Her
During an interview on That One Time podcast, former WWE Performance Center recruit Alexis Lete accused former NXT wrestler Cora Jade of bullying her. Alexis said Cora tried to bully her into deleting a TikTok video that Cora claimed exposed the wrestling business.
Cora issued the following statement regarding this:
“I shouldn’t be giving this girl an ounce more of my energy but this will be the one and only time I speak on this and if you know you know – This girl came into the pc and immediately had heat with everyone for being disrespectful on more than one occasion.
I texted this girl trying to HELP before her heat got worse (that had already travelled up to main roster before she even had a match). I’ll go ahead and post the screenshots myself. She chose to basically tell me to f**k off and then continue to get heat for weeks.
Only until multiple main roster talent members spoke to her as well, she decided to come up to me and apologize. I told her I appreciate the apology but I dont respect how she handles things and the ways she disrespects pro wrestling.
I came from Indy wrestling, absolutely loved wrestling and was trying to carry on the love and respect that was there when I got there in black and gold.
There is absolutely no respect for wrestling with people like this and it’s not my job to care about anymore. Which is exactly what is wrong with that entire place in general. I spoke to her maybe 5 times total of that. Blunt to a fault sometimes? Yes. But bullying is crazy (laughing emoji).”
Following a match in which she may have suffered a concussion, Alexis Lete was told by someone in WWE that getting injured is “part of the job.” Due to this attitude toward injuries and her own waning passion for wrestling, Lete was already planning to quit WWE when she was notified that she had been released.
