• “My hands shake. I can’t feel my pinkies” – WWF Legend On How He Feels Post-Retirement

Kurt Angle is one of the greatest wrestlers ever to step inside the squared circle. He had countless classics in the ring across different promotions, but they came at the cost of his body.

He got inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2017 after which he served as the General Manager of RAW. The former World Champion’s last run in the ring started later that year when he teamed up with The Shield at TLC, which ended with him being retired by Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35.

During his final days as a pro wrestler, Angle was unhappy with his performance in the ring and found it “brutal” to watch himself in the ring.

Speaking to The Undertaker on the Six Feet Under podcast, he said that he felt really good when he returned in 2017, but Vince McMahon did not want him to wrestle at that time.

“Vince had a different idea… he makes me GM of RAW. And during this time, my knees are arthritic, and they’re getting tighter, and I’m less active. And for 8 months I didn’t do anything. Then all of a sudden he’s like, Kurt, I want you to wrestle. Uh, that’s gonna be a problem (laughs).

I literally, when I got in there, I looked like crap. I mean, I couldn’t do anything. It made me want to retire earlier than I wanted to. That’s why I retired with Baron Corbin at WrestleMania… because I didn’t want people to look at me and say, gosh, he used to be great, but now… I didn’t want that.”

The Undertaker then asked him about how he feels these days, to which he responded:

“The only thing that bothers me now is I have motor skill problems. My hands shake ‘cause my neck is so bad. And there’s nothing I can do about it. My neck naturally fused together… so I don’t have any more discs in between my vertebrae. I get pain going down my arms. My pinkies, I can’t feel either one of my pinkies. They’re gone. So, I just have a lot of functional problems. There’s just nothing. I have to deal with it.”

• Aalyah Mysterio & WWF Veteran’s Sons Spotted Training In The Ring

WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio is one of the most popular pro wrestlers in the world. His son, Dominik Mysterio, is already a top star, and it is possible that his daughter Aalyah follows his footsteps soon too.

Aalyah Mysterio, who has made a number of WWE appearances in the past, was recently spotted at Natalya and TJ Wilson’s “The Dungeon”, where she attended a wrestling training session. She was accompanied by her father and other WWE stars like Apollo Crews, The Street Profits and B-Fab.

Natalya shared a photo following the session on Instagram, under which Aalyah commented that she enjoyed the session.

“An insane night of training in The Dungeon. Nights like this set my soul on fire. So much passion and generations of wrestling in one room. It was such an honor having you tonight @619iamlucha. Lessons upon lessons — @nativetatanka @tjwilson711”

• 2 WWF Legends Got Facials At Vince McMahon’s Birthday Bash

Vince McMahon celebrated his 80th birthday at the end of last month. His birthday party was attended by several big names like John Cena, The Undertaker, Kane, Drew McIntyre, The Godfather and JBL.

The Godfather recently spoke about the fancy two-day event on the Poddin’ Ain’t Easy podcast, where he revealed that Mr. McMahon introduced him to his girlfriend.

“He had on like a Dr. Evil suit on, bro… I thought, Dr. Evil. He introduced me to his girlfriend, or whatever she was.”

The WWE Hall of Famer revealed that it took place at the 5-star Baccarat Hotel in New York City, where McMahon paid everything for his guests including the hotel rooms and even a New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game. Jelly Roll provided musical entertainment during the event.

“Vince bought everything, paid for the hotel, just for us people.”

The Godfather also spoke about his reunion with The Undertaker at the hotel spa when he decided to get his first-ever facial.

“I get there, and I get in my own little room and get my little robe on and my little fufu slippers. I open the door… the room across me, door opens up. Who is it? The Undertaker. I go, ‘facial.’ He goes, ‘Yeah’… Who would ever thought, bro?”

The 64-year-old legend also mentioned the conversation he had with McMahon, where the former WWE Chairman told him that he had only invited his true friends to his birthday party.

He went on to say that McMahon “looked a lot better” and was “walking a lot better” than in recent videos that surfaced online.
