• Spoiler Lineup For Tonight’s SmackDown
WWE put on an excellent night of pro wrestling at Clash in Paris last Sunday night. Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will feature the fallout from the Premium Live Event.
The show is expected to be one of the biggest episodes of SmackDown this year as it is rumored to feature the return of AJ Lee after 10 years and an appearance from Brock Lesnar. The blue brand will also feature John Cena for one final time in Chicago tonight.
The 17-time World Champion took to X to confirm that it will be his last SmackDown appearance tonight. He posted:
“My WWE debut was on SmackDown at Allstate Arena. Few, if any, places rival the feeling in that building with a sold-out Chicago crowd. We get to do it one last time for my final SmackDown appearance.
Tonight is one you are NOT going to want to miss. Let’s go CHI-TOWN!”
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H is also teasing tonight’s SmackDown to be a major show:
“40 years of WWE history. Epic matches, jaw-dropping returns, and game-changing debuts. The Allstate Arena holds a special place in the heart of every Superstar who gets the chance to perform here. This place is magic…let’s make some more tonight. SmackDown in Chicago will be (fire emojis)”

• Venue & Location For John Cena’s Retirement Match Revealed
According to WrestleVotes, John Cena’s retirement match will take place on December 13 on Saturday Night’s Main Event at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC.
Earlier this morning, WWE announced the following regarding Cena’s upcoming RAW appearances:
John Cena to make his final appearances in Boston on Nov. 10 and New York City on Nov. 17
“WWE, part of TKO Group Holdings, today announced that 17-time World Champion John Cena will make his final appearances in Boston and New York City when Monday Night Raw heads to TD Garden on Monday, Nov. 10, and Madison Square Garden on Monday, Nov. 17, as part of his farewell tour which comes to an end this December.
Tickets for each event will go on sale starting Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT. Fans can purchase tickets during an exclusive presale by visiting Ticketmaster.com starting Tuesday, Sept. 9, at 10 a.m. ET/7 a.m. PT.
