• WrestleMania 43 Will Take Place In Saudi Arabia
Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, tweeted the following on August 6:
“A huge entertainment event I signed a while ago in 2027, a big surprise I’ll announce soon… (Your happiness is our goal)”
A fan asked: “WrestleMania, Abu Nasser?”
Turki replied using smiling emojis.

This began speculation that Saudi Arabia might host WrestleMania in 2027, which would be WrestleMania 43. WrestleMania 42 in 2026 will take place at Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
In an update, Turki has confirmed that Saudi Arabia will host WWE WrestleMania 43 in 2027.

PWInsider has verified this news. According to the report, an Arabic press release briefly went live announcing the event before being quickly removed, as it was apparently released earlier than planned.
Despite the premature posting, the information is legitimate, and an official announcement is expected soon. This will mark the first time WrestleMania is held outside North America in the event’s history.
But before WrestleMania, Saudi Arabia will host a big 4 WWE PLE next year: Royal Rumble 2026.
WWE gets paid $50 million per premium live event in Saudi Arabia. One would assume they might get paid extra to host the Big 4 PLEs, especially WrestleMania.

• RAW Star Could Return Soon And Start A Big Feud
Ilja Dragunov has been out of action since he tore his ACL in a match with GUNTHER at a WWE Live Event last year.
PWInsider reported at the end of August that he was close to 100% or already cleared for an in-ring return.
Bodyslam+ is reporting that the former NXT Champion could be back in action soon. The WWE creative team has discussed a feud between him and Rusev as a way to reintroduce him on TV. However, nothing is finalized yet.
Rusev recently defeated Sheamus in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match at Clash In Paris and got a win over Penta on the latest episode of RAW. He has his sights set on the Intercontinental Championship.
In a recent interview with VoxCatch, The Bulgarian Brute said that his main goal in his current WWE run is to help younger wrestlers.
“My main goal was, you know, to show these young kids that they need to take advantage of the opportunity they have to go to show up every day, work hard and strive for more. Because I see a lot of them, they just are complacent. And I’ve been there and I know how they feel. So I wanted to help them.”
