– In the opening segment of tonight’s WWE SmackDown, Michael Cole was told on commentary that Brock Lesnar wants the sit-down interview to happen right now, so he heads to the back. However, Lesnar came out and lifted Cole on his shoulders, marched around the ring and then took Cole in the ring. Lesnar was about to attack Cole, but Corey Graves stopped The Beast. Lesnar then hit Graves with two F5s.
Lesnar looked into the camera and told John Cena that he’s coming for blood.

Backstage, Paul Heyman was with The Vision’s Bron Breakker and “Big” Bronson Reed. Lesnar met Heyman and said “we should talk.”

After the match, The Usos appeared on the titantron and said they will welcome Bron & Bronson to The Uso Penitentiary at Wrestlepalooza.
– Tiffany Stratton (c) vs. Nia Jax vs. Jade Cargill in a Triple Threat Match for the WWE Women’s Championship was set up for next week’s SmackDown.
– Sami Zayn (c) def. Carmelo Hayes to retain the United States Championship
– Damian Priest met with Nick Aldis & Kit Wilson. Priest wants a rematch against Aleister Black. Kit told Damian that he needs to look in the mirror and realize he is a toxic person. Priest grabbed Kit and tossed him through a wall.
– Solo Sikoa said that Tonga Loa has been loyal to him since they were in The Bloodline, and his loyalty will be rewarded. Solo wants to make Tonga a champion again. Tonga said he loves Solo.
– During their WWE Championship contract signing, Cody Rhodes told Drew McIntyre that they won the Tag Team Titles 15 years ago, but no one cares. Cody said that Drew is a warrior but these days he acts like a keyboard warrior. Drew thanked Cody for giving him a legitimate title shot. Cody said he will defeat Drew tomorrow at Wrestlepalooza and retain the WWE Title.
Drew called Cody a Corporate Champion and said the fans will soon turn on Cody like they turned on him, and Cody will look back at this moment and remember that Drew was right.
McIntyre attacked Cody, but hesitated to hit the Claymore Kick through the side of the announce table again. Cody then attacked Drew, but Drew laid the champion out to end the show.
