• Jey Uso Gives An Update After Getting Busted Open At Wrestlepalooza
In the second match of Wrestlepalooza, The Vision (Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed) defeated The Usos (Jimmy & Jey Uso). LA Knight was the special guest referee for this match.
During the match, Jey hit Bron with a steel chair. The chair bounced off Bron’s back and hit Jey in the head, causing Jey to get busted open.
Bron speared both Usos through a table, followed by Reed hitting Jey with the Tsunami for the win.
The Wrestling Observer reported that Jey is in concussion protocol, which is required after an injury like this.
Jey gave the following update on his Instagram story: “I’m good.”
• Backstage WWE Reaction To AJ Lee’s Wrestlepalooza Match
At Wrestlepalooza, AJ Lee had her first match after 10 years. She teamed up with her husband, CM Punk, to defeat Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch and World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins in a mixed tag team match.
AJ made Becky tap out to the Black Widow submission move.
According to Fightful Select, the response backstage to AJ’s in-ring return was said to be overwhelmingly positive, with people in WWE believing she delivered a strong performance.
Much of the credit also went to Becky, who was praised for guiding the match. A veteran within the company noted that Lynch has a history of helping talent ease back into the ring after long absences, and she once again handled that role effectively.
• Adult Star Invites Toni Storm To Piledrive Her, Storm Accepts
Toni Storm has gained a lot of new supporters after reinventing herself with the “Timeless” gimmick. Not only do people within the pro wrestling industry praise her work, but she is now attracting attention from outside the wrestling world as well.
One admirer of the former AEW Women’s World Champion is Kendra Lust, an adult film star who is also a big wrestling fan.
Storm recently appeared on The Sandman Podcast, where the host took questions from fans in the ending segment. Lust sent in a message expressing her admiration for Storm. Below is what she sent:
“Toni Storm, identifying as bi$exual. I’ve learned about you, which makes me a bigger fan than I already was because of your beauty and talent. So in my business, the piledriver is a good thing. Would you piledrive me? I might kick out, and you try to pin me because you might want more.”
Storm responded positively, showing interest in a potential meet-up.
“I’m happy to set up some kind of meeting. To discuss… We will discuss further…”
When the host asked Storm if she would “do the job” for Lust, Storm said she would.

• Triple H Comments On John Cena Losing To Brock Lesnar
In the opening match of WWE Wrestlepalooza, Brock Lesnar defeated 17-time World Champion John Cena in a match that lasted 9 minutes.
Lesnar beat Cena after hitting 6 back-to-back F5s. After the match, Lesnar F5ed the referee and hit Cena with another F5 before leaving. Kids in attendance were shown crying.
Paul Heyman joined forces with Lesnar before the match, as he introduced The Beast as the last real a$$ kicker.
During the Wrestlepalooza post show, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H said the following about Cena’s devastating loss:
“Well, if I was in the WWE locker room in this moment, I would be looking at John Cena and thinking he is right for the picking for me now. And I’m gonna move in there and I’m gonna come and make a name for myself on the sort of this moment. I’m gonna jump in that John Cena lottery and I’m gonna get myself a top shelf booking against a guy that I think right now I can take out.
When you really break that down, John is in his final run and Brock is still Brock. You know every now and then reality creeps in and smacks you in the face and says this is what it is. That’s what happened to John Cena tonight. But if I know John, this doesn’t deter him.
John moves forward and John does everything he said he was gonna do and enjoys this return.”

• Triple H Reveals Why Stephanie Vaquer Disappeared From WWE TV Recently
Stephanie Vaquer wrestled on the July 28 episode of RAW in an 8-Woman Tag Team Match before suddenly disappearing from WWE TV. She had earned a Women’s World Championship Match by winning the 20-Woman Battle Royal at Evolution, but her scheduled bout with Naomi at Clash In Paris was canceled after Naomi announced her pregnancy and vacated the title.
WWE later announced that Vaquer would face IYO SKY for the vacant Women’s World Championship at Wrestlepalooza.
La Primera eventually returned on NXT earlier this month, where she teamed up with Rhea Ripley and WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to confront The Fatal Influence. Stephanie, Rhea, and Lyra Valkyria (replacing Tiffany) later faced them in a 6-Woman Tag Team Match at NXT Homecoming and won.
On the Wrestlepalooza Post-Show, Triple H revealed that Vaquer had been very sick in recent weeks with “flu-like symptoms.” He praised her for getting cleared just in time for the event and putting on a strong performance against IYO SKY.
Stephanie Vaquer went on to defeat IYO SKY at Wrestlepalooza to capture the Women’s World Championship.
