• John Cena’s Next Match Is Set
John Cena and AJ Styles are two of the greatest stars to ever grace the pro wrestling industry. Styles arrived in WWE in 2016 and immediately became one of Cena’s biggest rivals, with the two squaring off multiple times.
As Cena’s retirement tour nears its end, fans are hoping for one final match between the two legends. The 17-time World Champion teased the possibility on X, tweeting the following before this week’s RAW:
“#CenavsStyles
Thoughts? #WWERaw”
This morning, Cena tweeted the following:
“I do not choose my opponents, but I (even through tough times) ALWAYS listen to the fans.
@AJStylesOrg are you listening?
Better yet @TripleH…. are YOU listening???
#CenaVsStyles”
AJ Styles has accepted the challenge. The Phenomenal One tweeted:
“I hear them loud and clear. Let’s do it, I’m ready!”
Cena only has 5 appearances left in his retirement tour. Cena vs. Styles could take place at Crown Jewel: Perth on October 11.
Styles is currently scheduled to team up with Dragon Lee to face Los Americanos on next week’s RAW.
