• WWE Fires Wrestler Who Spoke Out Against Hulk Hogan

WWE has parted ways with several wrestlers this week. It quietly decided to let go of some talents and chose not to renew certain contracts.

One of the names the company released today is Jamar Hampton. He joined the pro wrestling world last year and was a part of WWE LFG and EVOLVE.

He took to Instagram to share the news and wrote:

“Today I have officially been released from the WWE. I never wished to be a pro wrestler growing up, but I’m grateful I got the opportunity to try! I’ve always been a lowkey out the way type of person, but wrestling forced me to grow and step to the center of attention.

Thank you to everyone who encouraged me to keep going! belief in me kept me going when I didn’t believe in myself. This is the end of my wrestling career, I’ll leave it to the professionals now! Wishing success for everyone at the PC!

Love

(P.S. My hip has healed & I’m off crutches now)”

Following Hulk Hogan’s death, Hampton questioned those paying tribute to the 2-time WWE Hall of Famer, saying that The Hulkster did not deserve such recognition due to his past racist comments against the Black community.

• Current Plan For John Cena At Survivor Series 2025

After being destroyed by Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza, John Cena is set to face AJ Styles at WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia this Saturday. The match was made official by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H after Cena’s challenge was accepted by Styles on X.

According to Bodyslam+, the match has been discussed for “some time.” Crown Jewel was looked at as the best opportunity for the encounter since the 17-time World Champion only has five appearances left in his Retirement Tour.

Bodyslam+ also reported that John Cena vs. Intercontinental Champion & AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio has been discussed for one of Cena’s final four appearances after Crown Jewel.

In an update from the Wrestling Observer, Dirty Dom is currently scheduled to defend the Intercontinental Championship against Cena at Survivor Series 2025.

Dominik might have planted seeds for his rumored match against Cena after he gave a “life lesson” to a young Cena fan. Here’s what he said:

“You’re wearing a John Cena shirt. Next time you come and ask Dirty Dom for a picture make sure you’re wearing a Dirty Dom shirt.”
