Another Possible Reason Why WWE Booked The Vision Break-Up Out Of Nowhere

WWE’s decision to have Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turn on Seth Rollins during this week’s episode of RAW in Perth, Australia reportedly came together at the last minute – and it may have had to do with viewership numbers than long-term storytelling for The Vision.

According to a new report from the Wrestling Observer, the angle involving Breakker and Reed attacking Rollins after Crown Jewel was not part of the company’s original creative plans.

The segment, which shocked fans and marked a major swerve in current storylines, is now believed to have been booked as a “hot shot” decision – a move intended to grab immediate attention rather than serve as a planned narrative development.

The Observer explained that the motivation behind the sudden creative pivot could stem from two overlapping factors:

Seth Rollins’ Injury: WWE may have altered its plans after Rollins reportedly sustained an injury during his match against Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel. With uncertainty surrounding his physical condition, the company might have wanted to write him into a brief injury angle, giving him a reason to take limited physical bumps while medical evaluations continue.

Viewership Concerns: Another reason, according to the report, is that WWE wanted to create a buzzworthy segment to boost viewership for a potentially low-rated episode of RAW. Because this week’s show had an early start time, internal projections suggested it could deliver the lowest viewership in the program’s history on Netflix. In response, WWE allegedly booked The Vision break-up angle as a shock segment to make fans tune in on Netflix.

Scott Steiner Explains Why Bron Breakker Attacked Seth Rollins

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Steiner pulled out “Steiner Math” to explain why Breakker turned his back on Rollins:

“So let me break it down for all you dummies that don’t understand what just happened…

You take Seth Rollins — the so-called ‘Visionary’ — and you put him in a ring with Bron Breakker, a Genetic Freak. But what Seth didn’t calculate… was the betrayal quotient.

Now let’s do the math:

Seth thought he had a 100% chance of survival with Bron at his side…

But what he didn’t know is that Bron’s got 66 2/3% loyalty when you factor in family bloodlines, and the other 33 1/3% is PURE RAGE.

So now Seth’s sitting there, asking ‘WHYYYY?’
I’ll TELL YA WHY!

Because Bron Breakker’s not here to play backup. He’s here to take over! He’s the dog-faced destroyer, and now the leash is OFF.

So Seth…

You took your eye off the math…

You had a 141 2/3% chance of getting BETRAYED…

And now you’re just another statistic in the Steiner Equation of Pain”
