• Backstage News On The Dudley Boyz Retiring At TNA Bound For Glory

At the TNA Bound For Glory 2025 PPV, The Hardy Boyz defeated The Dudley Boyz in a Tables Match to retain the TNA & WWE NXT Tag Team Championships. Spike Dudley returned for this match.

After the match, Bubba Ray Dudley (Bully Ray) and D-Von Dudley took their boots off and gave them to Matt and Jeff Hardy, as they retired from in-ring competition.

During a backstage interview after the match, Matt and Jeff revealed that they were shocked when Team 3D retired, as they didn’t know that was going to happen.

Here’s what Matt said:

“I was confident we were going to beat Team 3D. We were on a regular grind, we’re both physically fit. Those guys hadn’t done this in a while, so I thought we’d get the W and establish ourselves as the better of the two teams.

They came out looking for a knockout, 3Ds right out the gate. But what shocked me was when the match ended, they took off their boots. They called it a career. We did not expect that. They gave us their boots, which was the ultimate sign of respect.

What a week. We became the NXT Tag Team Champions, the House of Glory Tag Team Champions, and then we went on to retire The Dudley Boyz. If you don’t think we’re the best in the game right now, I don’t know what you’re thinking. I have four words for everyone: The GOATs are here.”

• Update On IShowSpeed’s WWE Future

YouTube sensation IShowSpeed was spotted at the WWE Performance Center this week, where he filmed an upcoming episode of his series “Speed Goes Pro.” The popular streamer and entertainer has been exploring different professional sports and entertainment worlds for the show – and this time, he’s stepping inside a WWE ring under the guidance of none other than Randy Orton.

Speed spent Monday at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, filming new content and posing for photos with staff and talent. According to Fightful Select, the visit was part of production for Speed Goes Pro, which follows the influencer as he trains with elite athletes to test whether he can compete at their level.

A number of WWE wrestlers were in attendance for the shoot and had previously attended the show’s premiere event.

The episode will feature Randy Orton, who has been working directly with IShowSpeed to teach him the fundamentals of pro wrestling. Orton, who was also present at the Performance Center on Monday, will serve as Speed’s trainer and mentor in the episode, helping the streamer experience what it takes to perform as a WWE Superstar.

The segment is expected to serve as the third episode of the season. The show’s first episode featured NFL legend Tom Brady, and the series has already gained massive traction online – with the debut episode of Speed Goes Pro surpassing 5.7 million views on YouTube in less than two weeks.

While WWE has reportedly remained open to the idea of Speed competing in a match, there are currently no confirmed plans for him to step into the ring beyond the show’s filming. However, given his massive fanbase and past WWE appearances, the company is clearly aware of the value of his crossover appeal.

• CM Punk Pins Dominik Mysterio In Rhea Ripley Style, Rhea Lifts Punk (Video)

WWE held a “Supershow” live event at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne, Australia, today. The company had advertised top names for the event, including World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Jey Uso, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed and AJ Styles.

However, Seth Rollins, who was scheduled to headline the show against CM Punk, missed the event. He was replaced by Intercontinental and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio in the main event.

Dirty Dom retained his Intercontinental Title against Punk after Roxanne Perez hit The Best In The World with a low blow, which caused the DQ. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY then came out to save Punk from The Judgment Day.

You can watch a few videos from the event below:

As noted before, Seth Rollins suffered a shoulder injury at Crown Jewel and is reportedly set to undergo surgery soon. The Visionary has also been pulled from WWE’s Japan Tour later this week, with Dominik Mysterio stepping in as his replacement.

His injury seems to be serious, so there’s a good possibility that he ends up vacating his World Heavyweight Championship. The rumored Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk match for the title at Saturday Night’s Main Event next month also looks like its in jeopardy now.
