• “You dumb, stupid, salty Mark” – Mercedes Moné Reacts To Dave Meltzer’s Recent Comment

Women’s wrestling has delivered some of the best storylines and matches of 2025, with several standout performers in contention for Female Wrestler Of The Year.

A fan on X recently asked Wrestling Observer journalist Dave Meltzer for his thoughts, writing:

“Do you think Mercedes Mone has a shot at female wrestler of the year? I think it’s close between her and Iyo Sky.”

Meltzer replied: “That’s a tough category. In ring the best is Sareee. All-around as contenders, I see Toni Storm, Mone, Sky, Sareee and Saya Kamitani as favorites.”

AEW TBS Champion Mercedes Moné, who has had a very successful year, did not seem pleased with the response and immediately took aim at Meltzer.

“You dumb, stupid, salty Mark! I’m the greatest of all time, 10 belts Moné, The CEO, Último Moné. I had the greatest year of my career! Who’s better than me?”

Moné has won 10 titles across different promotions this year. She is on track to become the longest reigning TBS Champion of all time.

The CEO could win her 11th title on Sunday as she is scheduled to take on Jody Threat for the Winnipeg Pro Wrestling Women’s Championship. If she wins, she’ll break Último Dragon’s record of holding 10 simultaneous titles.

• “If that old geezer wants me to put a final nail in his coffin, I’ll be more than happy to” – RAW Star On John Cena Match

Following his victory over AJ Styles in a masterclass at WWE Crown Jewel, John Cena now has four dates remaining on his Retirement Tour. He is scheduled to appear on two episodes of RAW, at Survivor Series: WarGames, and for his final match on Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.

Rumors suggest that The GOAT’s next opponent could be Intercontinental and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio. The bout is expected to take place at Survivor Series next month, marking Cena’s final Premium Live Event appearance.

While speaking to Graps & Yaps, Dirty Dom said that he’d be happy to end Cena’s career.

“At the end of the day, I’m here. If John Cena wants some, he can come get some. He’s got four dates left, you said? If that old geezer wants me to put a final nail in his coffin, I’ll be more than happy to. That’s what I’m here for. I’m here to be and stay your dirty double champ.”

Before Cena returns for a potential Intercontinental Championship Match against The Judgment Day member, Dirty Dom will have to defeat Rusev to retain the title next week on RAW.
